Ducks Continue Road Trip In Columbus

‏@latestcanada

The Anaheim Ducks will continue their road trip when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Thursday night. Anaheim is coming off a 4-1 victory over the Penguins.

Columbus comes into the game with a 21-28-6 record while the Ducks sport a 26-19-7 record. The Blue Jackets have won two of their last three games.

Columbus got a great effort out of Joonas Korpisalo who made 44 saves in the game but lost in the shootout. Cam Atkinson and Brandon Dubinsky each scored a goal in the loss.

The Blue Jackets are led by Scott Hartnell, Atkinson, and Brandon Saad. Hartnell has 36 points on the season, 18 goals and 18 assists.

Atkinson is second on the team with 35 points, 18 goals and 17 assists. Saad also has 35 points on the season, 19 goals and 16 assists.

Corey Perry is playing some excellent and will be the focal point of the Blue Jackets tonight. He picked up two assists last time out and if the Blue Jackets are able to slow him down it do them a world of good.

Let’s get this win Anaheim!
