Ducks Claim Pontus Aberg From Waivers

According to Eric Stephens of the Athletic, the Anaheim Ducks have claimed left winger Pontus Aberg off of waivers.
Confirmed that Ducks claimed Pontus Aberg off waivers from Oilers. Aberg will report to Anaheim. Played in 53 GP between Nashville and Edmonton last year, went 4-8-12. Also had a few games with AHL Milwaukee.

Aberg is a former second-round pick of the Nashville Predators. He has spent time with the Predators and Edmonton Oilers throughout his career.
Last year he appeared in 53 games with both clubs and totaled 16 points, 4 goals, and 12 assists. Anaheim will kick off the year on the road against the San Jose Sharks.
