Ducks Call Up John Gibson

According to James Mirtle of TSN the Anaheim Ducks have recalled goaltender John Gibson from the AHL San Diego Gulls.

The Anaheim Ducks official Twitter account reported earlier today that starting goaltender Frederik was ill.
Goaltender Frederik Andersen (flu-like symptoms) is questionable for tonight’s game.

Gibson was a second round pick of the 2011 NHL Draft. He appeared in 23 games last season with the club recording a 13-8 record.
The San Diego Gulls also reported the news via Twitter.
