Garbutt has spent time with the Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhaws, and Ducks throughout his career. So far this season he has played in 27 games and has a plus minus of -3.
He has two goals and one assist this year while averaging just over 9 minutes of ice time a game. With Garbutt going to the Gulls hopefully he can get out of his funk.
