It was slightly surprising that no one claimed Khudobin being that the goalie position is so vital. The Arizona Coyotes have dealt with injuries at the position in particular to Mike Smith and many thought they would claim Khudobin.
Khudobin was placed on waivers mainly due to the emergence of John Gibson. The Ducks have been able to rest up over the last few days as they don’t have a game until Thursday night.
They will take on the Sabres in Buffalo in their next matchup. As more information surfaces on Khudobin and the Ducks we will keep you up to date.
