Dodgers Trade Carlos Ruiz To Mariners

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers have traded veteran catcher Carlos Ruiz to the Seattle Mariners.

Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.
The deal has not been finalized, but LHP Vidal Nuno is the player the Dodgers are expected to get back for Carlos Ruiz.

Ruiz spent 11 years with the Philadelphia Phillies before joining the Dodgers via trade last season. Ruiz was reunited with longtime teammate Chase Utley.
Ruiz was named an All-Star in 2012. The move allows Austin Barnes to backup Yasmani Grandal next season for Los Angeles.
