Dodgers Top Cubs 6-1, Take 3-0 Series Lead

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 6-1 on Tuesday night to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. Los Angeles is just one win away from reaching their first World Series since 1988.
Yu Darvish got the start. He pitched 6.1 innings allowing 6 hits and 1 run. He walked 1 and struck out 7 as he picked up his 2nd win of the postseason.
On the other side, Kyle Hendricks got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs, 3 of them earned. He walked 1 and struck out 5 as he picked up his 1st loss of the postseason.
The offense got started in the 1st inning when Kyle Schwarber hit his first home run of the postseason. This gave the Cubs a 1-0 lead.
In the 2nd inning, Andre Ethier hit a solo shot to tie the game. Chris Taylor hit a solo shot of his own in the 3rd inning and the Dodgers held a 2-1 lead.
It was Taylor again in the 5th inning, this time with a RBI single that brought in Joc Pederson. Darvish drew a walk with the bases loaded in the 6th inning that brought in Yasiel Puig to extend the lead.
Logan Forsythe scored a passed ball in the 8th inning and Kyle Farmer hit a sacrifice fly that brought in Austin Barnes that put Los Angeles in front 6-1.
Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and struck out 2 to seal the deal.
