Dodgers Take Down Reds 8-2

The Los Angeles Dodgers took down the Cincinnati Reds 8-2 on Tuesday night. With the loss the Reds fell for the 9th straight time.

For the Dodgers Mike Bolsinger got the start. He pitched 5.2 innings allowing 3 hits and 2 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 6 as he picked up his 1st win of the year.

On the other side Daniel Wright got the start. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 7 hits and 4 runs, 3 earned. He walked 1 and struck out 4 as he picked up his 1st loss of the year.

The offense got started in the first inning. Justin Turner hit a RBI single that brought in Chase Utley. This gave the Dodgers a 1-0 lead.

In the 4th inning Adam Duvall hit a two-run home run. It was his 9th of the year and brought in Jay Bruce which gave the Reds a 2-1 lead.

It was Joc Pederson in the bottom of the 4th inning. Pederson hit a RBI double that brought in Tracye Thompson. Pederson then scored on throwing error by Tucker Barnhart. After four Los Angeles led 3-2.

Yasiel Puig hit a RBI single in the 6th inning. Howie Kendrick reached first base on a Joey Votto throwing error that brought in a run and the Dodgers held a 5-2 advantage.

In the 8th inning the Dodgers would put the nail in the coffin. Turner hit a 2-run single, and Adrian Gonzalez followed with a RBI single of his own that brought in Corey Seager.

The Dodgers beat the Reds 8-2. Los Angeles will take on the Reds tonight at 7:10 p.m. PST
