Dodgers Take Game 1 Of World Series

Clayton Kershaw was fantastic and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Houston Astros by a score of 3-1 in game one of the World Series on Tuesday night. Los Angeles is now just three wins away from being crowned champions.
Dodgers ace Kershaw got the start in game one of the World Series. He pitched 7 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run while striking out 11 batters. He picked up his 3rd win of the postseason.
On the other side, Dallas Keuchel got the start for Houston. He pitched 6.2 innings allowing 6 hits and 3 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 3 as he picked up his second loss of the postseason.
The offense got started in the first inning when Chris Taylor got hit a solo shot. For Taylor, it was his third home run of the postseason.
In the fourth inning, Alex Bregman got the Astros on the board. He hit a solo shot of his own that was his third of the postseason to tie the score at 1-1.
Justin Turner hit the go-ahead two-run home run in the 6th inning that lifted the Dodgers to victory. Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th and picked up the save.
The series will continue tonight at Dodgers Stadium. Rich Hill and Justin Verlander are the projected starters.
