Dodgers Sign Franklin Gutierrez

According to Jon Heyman of FanRags.com the Los Angeles Dodgers have signed free agent outfielder Franklin Gutierrez.

Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register also confirmed the news.

Gutierrez has spent time with the Cleveland Indians and the Seattle Mariners throughout his career. Gutierrez won a Gold Glove with the the Mariners back in 2010.
Last season with the Mariners he played in 98 games and hit .246 with a .329 OBP. He hit nine doubles and 14 homeruns.
