According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Dodgers have sent pitcher Mike Bolsinger down to Triple-A.

The Dodgers moved Bolsinger down in order to bring Santos up to add depth to the bullpen. Bolsinger got the start for the Dodgers on Thursday night. He did an excellent job in the spot start allowing 1 run and 5 hits in 5.2 innings of work. He was awarded a no decision in for his work.

Santos is a former first round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks back in 2002. He spent the last 3 years with the Toronto Blue Jays.

In 2014 he had his fair share of struggles. He appeared in 26 games and posted a 0-3 record. He also a a 8.57 ERA.

For the Dodgers sake let’s hope he gets back on track.
