Dodgers Reach The 90 Win Mark With Win Over Pirates

The Los Angeles Dodgers reached the 90 win mark with a dub over the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2 on Thursday night. With the win the club has won three out of their last four games.

For the Dodgers Hyun-jin Ryu got the start. He pitched 6 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He walked 2 and struck out 2 has he picked up his 5th win of the year.

On the other side Chad Kuhl got the start. He pithed 4 innings allowing 6 hits and 2 runs. He walked 5 and struck out 2 and picked up his 9th loss of the year.

The offense got started in the 2nd inning when Chris Taylor hit a RBI single to center field. Enrique Hernandez scored and the club held a 1-0 lead.

Jordy Mercer hit a RBI single in the 2nd inning that brought Sean Rodriquez in and tied the score at 1-1.

In the 4th inning Curtis Granderson hit a solo shot. It was Hernandez in the 7th inning that hit a RBI single and brought in Yasiel Puig and the Dodgers held a 3-1 advantage.

Adam Frazier hit a RBI single single in the bottom of the 7th. Yasami Grandal and Adrian Gonzalez each hit solo bombs in the 8th inning to give Los Angeles a 5-2 advantage.

Brandon Morrow came on in the 9th inning and picked up his first save of the year.
