Dodgers Re-Sign Yasmani Grandal

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Los Angeles Dodgers have re-signed catcher Yasmani Grandal to a one-year deal worth $7.9 million dollars.

Grandal is a former first round pick of the Cinanti Reds in the 2010 MLB Draft. He spent three years with the Padres before joining the Dodgers in 2015.
Grandal was named to the All-Star team in 2015 where he hit 16 homeruns and drove in 47 runs. Last season with the club he hit .247 and had 22 homeruns and 58 RBI’s.
Los Angeles is happy to bring back another key member of the National League Champion team that was one win away from winning the World Series.
