Dodgers Re-Sign Alex Wood

According to Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers have re-signed starting pitcher Alex Wood.

The Dodgers reported the news on their official Twitter account.
Today, the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to one-year contracts with RHP Pedro Baez, LHP Tony Cingrani, RHP Josh Fields, C Yasmani Grandal, INF/OF Kiké Hernandez, OF Joc Pederson and LHP Alex Wood.

Wood is a former second-round pick of the Atlanta Braves in the 2012 MLB Draft. He spent two and half years with the Braves before joining the Dodgers in 2015.
In the last three years with the club, he has been consistent but had the best year of his career last season with the club. Wood posted a 16-3 record with a 2.72 ERA. He threw in 152 innings and struck out 151 batters a year ago.
