Shaikin reported further information on the news.
Dave Roberts said 10–12 days is a reasonable estimate for Stripling’s absence. Stripling has been pitching through a sore toe, so this could be an opportunistic way to rest him. He is approaching his career high in IP.

J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reported the news as well.
Ross Stripling (toe) to the DL. Dylan Floro is up. It’s a 10-12 day recovery period, Dave Roberts says.

Stripling is having his best season of his career and is having this lingering injury. Roberts and the club will be catious with the All-Star and not rush him back.
