Dodgers Place Andre Ethier On 60-Day DL

According to the Los Angeles Dodgers official Twitter account, the club has placed outfielder Andre Ethier on the 60-day DL.
The Dodgers have acquired minor-league OF James Ramsey and IF-OF Zach Walters from Cleveland. Andre Ethier and Josh Ravin moved to 60-day DL

The news came on Ethier’s birthday.

Either suffered a leg injury in Spring Training and is forced to miss 10-14 weeks with the injury. Ethier was one of the Dodgers best bats last season and he will be sorely missed at the start of the year.
Los Angeles will have to rely on newcomers like Trayce Thompson to help fill the void of Ethier’s absence. Dodger fans are hoping for a speedy recovery for the fan favorite.
Los Angeles is coming off a tough series against the San Francisco Giants and will look to rebound when they have their home opener tomorrow.
