Dodgers Option Joc Pederson

According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Dodgers have optioned outfielder Joc Pederson to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Plunkett reported the news earlier in the day.

Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times shared his thoughts about the Granderson trade when it first happen.

Pederson is a former 11th round pick of the Dodgers in the 2010 MLB Draft. He has spent the last four years with the club making the All-Star team in 2015.

This season Pederson is batting .215 with 11 home runs and 33 RBI’s. The move shows the Dodgers are committed to getting Granderson at-bats in the lineup and for now Pederson is the odd man out.
