Kershaw has been dealing with a back injury that has kept him out for quite sometime now. Los Angeles made a trade at the deadline to try and ease the hurt with Kershaw being out.
They went out and acquired Rich Hill from the Oakland Athletics. He maybe to start for the Dodgers this weekend. Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported that the Dodgers have done surprising well without Kershaw so far.
