- Updated: October 25, 2017
The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to take a 2-0 series lead in game 2 of the 2017 World Series. Los Angeles won game one last night thanks to home runs by Chris Taylor and Justin Turner.
For the Astros, they will turn to Justin Verlander who has been spectacular thus far this postseason. He has posted a 4-0 record with a 1.46 ERA. On the other side, Rich Hill will get the start. He has a 0-0 record with a 3.00 ERA.
Turner has led the Dodgers offensive attack all post season. Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times spoke to Turner about the news.
Justin Turner said Sandy Koufax told him this today: “162 is work. Once you get to the playoffs, it’s fun.”
