Dodgers Interview Kirk Gibson For Managerial Job

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports the Los Angeles Dodgers have interviewed former big leaguer Kirk Gibson for the managerial job.

Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

Gibson spent 3 years with the Dodgers as a player. He hit the iconic home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series that helped the club when their last championship.
Gibson was a manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2010 to 2014. He was won the NL Manager of the Year award and was relieved of his duties at the end of the 2014 season.
Gibson is just the latest man to be named in the loop for the managerial job in Los Angeles. Dave Roberts, Gabe Kapler, and Darin Erstad are just a few to be rumored to be interviewed.
