Dodgers Interested In Zach Britton?

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton.

This is not the first time the Dodgers have shown interest in the closer. They were in the mix to acquire him last winter but went in a different direction. Below is an excerpt from his article. You can read the full article here.

“The Dodgers were one of the prime players for Britton last summer, but ultimately they traded for two lefty relievers instead — Tony Cingrani and Tony Watson.”

Britton is a two-time All-Star and finished fourth in Cy Young voting in 2016. This season he posted a 2-1 record with a 2.89 ERA. He pitched in 38 games and recorded 15 saves.

Los Angeles is looking to improve their bullpen and Britton could be a great addition. As more information surfaces on the Dodgers and their roster news, we will keep you up to date.
