Dodgers Ink Jamey Wright To Minor League Contract

According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Jamey Wright to a minor league deal.

Ken Gurnick of the MLB.com reported the news as well.
Dodgers have signed RHP Jamey Wright, 41, to Minor League deal w/invite. He didn’t pitch last year, was w/club 2012, 2014.

Gurnick reported further details on the signing.
Jamey Wright worked out over the winter in Dallas with Clayton Kershaw, leading to his comeback decision.

Wright did not pitch last year after he was cut by the Texas Rangers. He is a 19 year veteran and will try to win a job with Los Angeles to record his 20th year.
He spent time with the Dodgers in 2012 and 2014. It will be interesting to see if the Wright will be able to stick or not. If anything he might be in the minors this season as a insurance policy.
