Johnson is a former seventh round pick in the 2001 MLB draft. The former first basemen played ten years in the league. He spent time with the Oakland Athletics, Rays, St.Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Baltimore Orioles.
Johnson has reinvented himself as a knuckle ball pitcher at the age of 37 and will give his new craft a shot in the minors with the Dodgers.
