Dodgers Get Joe Blanton For 2016

The Los Angeles Dodgers are bringing back a very familiar face for 2016, Joe Blanton. The team has confirmed that Blanton, 35, will be a vital part of the Dodgers bullpen for the upcoming 2016 season.
Today, the #Dodgers announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Joe Blanton to a one-year contract.

Blanton deal is for one year, at 4 million dollars. The Dodgers acquired Blanton, back in 2012 from the Philadelphia Phillies as a starter, but recently, Blanton played for the Kansas City Royals and Pittsburgh Pirates as a relief pitcher last season, as the Pirates made the National League Playoffs and the Kansas City Royals went on to win the 2015 World Series.
Blanton has a career record of 92 wins and 91 losses in eleven years of major league service, while only spending a brief time with the Dodgers, with a 2-4 record in ten games started.
