- Updated: September 16, 2015
The Los Angeles Dodgers fell to the Colorado Rockies in extras 5-4 on Tuesday night in a game that set franchise records for players and pitchers used.
Brett Anderson, who suffered a left calf cramp in his last start, took the mound for the Dodgers for his 28th start of the season. With a record of 9-8, a 3.36 ERA and the healthiest he has been since 2009, the 27-year-old lefty looked to continue the Dodgers’ success against the Rockies this season.
Coming off three days extra days of rest, the groundball-inducing pitcher gave up two earned runs in six innings of work and struck out seven batters on only 78 pitches – but took a no-decision.
