Dodgers Fall To Giants 6-2

The Los Angeles as Dodgers struggles against the San Francisco Giants continued on Saturday as they fell 6-2. Today’s loss marks two in a row for the boys in blue.
Carlos Frias got the start for the Dodgers. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 6 runs. He also struck out 2 and walked one. He picked up his 5th loss of the season.
For the Giants Tim Hudson got the start. He pitched 6.1 innings allowing 6 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 3 and walked 2 as well. For his efforts he was awarded his 5th win of the year.
The Giants got started early when Angel Pagan hit a sacrifice fly to center field that brought in Nori Aoki. Buster Posey followed with a sacrifice fly of his own that brought in Joe Panik and the Giants held a 2-0 advantage.
Joc Pederson answered back in the bottom of the inning with a solo shot to right. It was his 18th of the year and cut the lead to 2-1. Justin Turner followed with a solo blast of his own to right that tied the game at 2-2. It was his 8th of the campaign.
The Giants decided to one up the Dodgers in the home run department in the 5th inning. Justin Maxwell hit a 2-run shot to left center that gave the Giants a 4-2 lead.
Brandon Belt added one of his own in the 6th inning, another 2-run shot and the Giants beat the Dodgers 6-2. With the loss the Dodgers are now 2-9 on the year with the Giants. They have been outscored 45-29 in those games.
