Dodgers Fall Again As Struggles Continue

The Los Angeles Dodgers fell again this time to the Colorado Rockies 5-4 on Friday night. Los Angeles has loss 8 in a row and 13 out of the last 14 games.
Yu Darvish got the start. He pitched 4.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 5 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 6 as he picked up his 12th loss of the year.
On the other side German Marquez got the start. He pitched 4 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs, 2 of them earned. He walked 3 and struck out 2 as he picked up the no decision.
The offense got started in the first inning when Carlos Gonzalez hit a solo shot to left field. Justin Turner followed with a 2-run shot of his own in the bottom half of the inning that brought in Curtis Grandson. Austin Barnes followed with a 2-run single that brought in Cody Bellinger and Joc Pederson and the Dodgers led 4-1 after the 1st inning.
Raimel Tapia hit a 2-run double in the 5th inning that brought in Alexi Amarista and Jonathan Lucroy. Charlie Blackosn and DJ LeMahieu followed with RBI doubles and the Rockies led 5-4.
It was Greg Holland in the 9th inning that came on and picked up his 38th save of the year.
