Dodgers Even Series 1-1

The Los Angeles Dodgers used a 2-run home run from Justin Turner in the 8th inning to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in game 2 of the NLCS. With the win, Los Angeles is now tied in the series 1-1.

For the Dodgers Hyun Jin-Ryu got the start. He pitched 4.1 innings allowing 6 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 4 as he was awarded a no-decision for his efforts.

On the other side, Wade Miley got the start. He pitched 5.2 innings allowing 2 hits and 0 runs as he struck out 3. He was also awarded a no-decision.

After 4 scoreless innings, the offense got started when Orlando Arcia hit a solo shot. Later in the inning, Ryan Braun grounded out to short and brought in Miley and the Brewers held a 2-0 advantage.

In the 6th inning, Travis Shaw hit a solo home run to push the Brewers lead to 3-0. Los Angeles answered back in the 7th inning when Cody Bellinger hit an RBI single that brought in Max Muncy.

Austin Barnes drew a walk with the bases loaded that brought in Manny Machado to trim the lead to 3-2.

Turner hit the go-ahead home run in the 8th inning that brought in Chris Taylor. Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and shut the club down as the Dodgers won 4-3.
