Reports surfaced that Black will be joining the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim front office for next season. The Dodgers are looking to replace Don Mattingly after they mutually parted ways a few weeks ago.
Mattingly ended up with the Miami Marlins where he is reunited with Dee Gordon. Once the Dodgers wrap up their managerial search they will focus on free agency where they are expected to go after some additional support for their starting rotation.
I believe that the managerial job is Dave Roberts’ to lose. It looks like we will find out sooner than later. As more information surfaces on the Dodgers and their search we will keep you up to date.
