Dodgers Take Care Of Business With Wins Saturday and Sunday

The Dodgers were able to score 8 unanswered runs on Saturday, en route to a 10-6 victory over Milwaukee. Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Joc Pederson, and Adrian Gonzalez led the way, going a combined 10-18 with 5 RBI’s and 2 HR’s. Howie Kendrick also went deep on his 3rd bomb of the year. Mike Bolsinger lasted only 2.2 innings while allowing 5 runs, but ended up with a no decision.
On Sunday, the Dodgers walked off for the second time in three days. Kenta Maeda was very good once again, tossing 6.1 innings of 1 run ball and lowering his ERA to 2.64. With the Dodgers down 1-0 in the bottom of the 8th, Enrique Hernandez went deep on a pinch hit solo home run to tie the game, 1-1. In the bottom of the 9th, Grandal drew a bases loaded walk to end the game, and the Dodgers walked off with another win.
Los Angeles has won 3 in a row and 5 of their last 6, yet still remain 6.5 games back of the Giants in the NL West. LA will start a 3 game set with the Nationals on Monday.
