Dodgers Complete Sweep Of D’Backs

The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a 3-0 sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday as they won by a score of 3-1. The Dodgers will now await the winner of the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals series in the NLCS.
Yu Darvish got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run. He walked 0 and struck out 7 as he picked up the win.
On the other side, Zack Greinke got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits and 3 runs. He walked 5 and struck out 4 as he picked up the loss.
The offense got started in the first inning when Cody Bellinger grounded out to first and brought in Chris Taylor. Bellinger hit a solo home run in the fifth inning to push the lead to 2-0.
Daniel Descalso hit a solo home run of his own in the fifth inning to trim the lead. Austin Barnes gave the Dodgers some insurance with a solo shot of his own to push the lead to 3-1.
Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and struck out out 2 and picked up his second save. Los Angeles will now go on to the NLCS.
