They did it in dramatic fashion as the day was already one of sentiment as it was Vin Scully’s last game in the broadcast booth.
Arash Markazi of ESPN Los Angeles shared his thoughts on the news.
The Dodgers win the NL West with a walk-off home run in Vin Scully’s final game at Dodger Stadium. Perfect.

Charlie Clumberson hit his first home run of the season in the 10th inning to send Dodgers fans home happy. This season has been unlike other years for Los Angeles.
Los Angeles was down eight games in the standings when ace Clayton Kershaw went down with an injury. Yasiel Puig was sent down to the minors throughout the year and oh by the way the club had a new skipper in Dave Roberts.
With all that the club found themselves at the top of the NL West divison once again. We will miss Vin Scully and the club is hopefully that in this year’s playoffs they can bring home the crown.
