The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 2-1 in a shortened game due to the rain. The Dodgers have been swinging the bat extremely well and they looked to bring those bats to Colorado tonight.

Brett Anderson got the start for the Dodgers. He pitched well until the game ended due to the weather. He pitched 5 innings allowing 6 hits and 0 earned runs on his way to his 2nd win of the season.

On the other hand Eddie Butler got the start for the Rockies. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 2 runs. He did strike out 3 and walk 4 as he picked up his 3rd loss of the season.

The Dodgers scored both of their runs in the 1st inning tonight. Adrian Gonzalez hit a ground-rule double to right field that brought in Joc Pederson.

Yasmani Grandal followed with a sacrifice fly to left field that brought in Justin Turner and the Dodgers held a 2-0 advantage.

In the 4th inning the Rockies got on the board. Nolan Arenado hit a RBI single to left field that brought in Troy Tulowitzki.

The game ended 2-1 due to the weather. These two teams will continue their series tomorrow night at 5:10 p.m. PST.
