Dodgers Avoid Arbitration With Yasmani Grandal

According to Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a one-year deal with Yasmani Grandal to a one-year deal worth 5.5 million dollars to avoid arbitration.

The Los Angeles Dodgers also reported the news.

Ken Gurnick of MLB.com also reported the news.

Grandal is a former first round pick of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2010 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the San Diego Padres and Dodgers throughout his career.

In 2015 Grandal was named to the All-Star team for the first time in his career. In 2016 Grandal saw his best power numbers in his career. He hit 27 homeruns and drove in 72 RBI’s.
