Rosenthal reported that the Yankees are close to trading to Chapman and keeping their other dominant bullpen pitcher Andrew Miller.

The Dodgers of course believed they had acquired Chapman this offseason in a trade. The trade would have paired Chapman with the Dodgers all-time saves leader Kenley Jansen.
Although the trade fell through due to Chapman’s off the field issue it looks as if Los Angeles is still interested in the flame thrower. With the trade deadline coming in the next week or so Los Angeles will be looking to add some arms to help the playoff push.
