Dodgers Agree To Deals With Kenley Jansen, Justin Turner, & Juan Nicasio

The Los Angeles Dodgers will not have to face any arbitration headaches this year after agreeing to deals with Kenley Jansen, Justin Turner, and Juan Nicasio.

Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reported the news.

Dodgers and Nicasio settle at $2.3M. Jansen and Turner are remaining arb-eligibles.

Dodgers avoid arbitration hearings again, settling with Jansen ($7.425M) and Nicasio ($2.5M). Last hearing was a 2007 win over Joe Beimel.

Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen made 44 saves and posted a 2.76 ERA. With all the bullpen problems the Dodgers had last season it was important to lock up one of their strongest assets in that department.

Justin Turner had a career year in Dodger Blue last season. In 109 games Turner hit .340 with seven home runs.

Juan Nicasio found his way to Los Angeles through waivers. He spent four years with the Rockies before being waived. He has been struggling as a starter but the Dodgers believe that he can be a solid bullpen option for them.
