Dodgers Acquire Ryan Madson

According to the official Twitter account of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the club has acquired Ryan Madson from the Washington Nationals.
The Los Angeles Dodgers today acquired RHP Ryan Madson (#50) in a trade with the Washington Nationals for minor league RHP Andrew Istler.

Ken Gurnick of the Los Angeles Times shared some information the news.
The Dodgers, who had interest three years ago when he was a free agent, put in a waiver claim for Nationals reliever Ryan Madson, according to a baseball source. Madson just came off the DL with lumbar irritation.

It is no secret that the Dodgers have been looking for bullpen help since Kenley Jansen has struggled. The club will need to figure out a solution if they want to be serious contenders come October.
