Jensen is 26 years old and has spent a significant amount of time in the minors. The California native blasted 27 homers in 133 games in Triple-A for the Marlins last season. The trade is curious move for the revamped Dodgers front office. Jensen is not a very well known prospect and is an average hitter. He struck out 147 times last season.
Kyle Jensen was drafted in the 12th round of the 2009 draft and has hit 128 home runs in the minors. The Dodgers already have an abundance of outfielders and some fans went to twitter to express their confusion of the deal.
@Dodgers @Marlins Yeah cause dodgers need more outfielders huh.. But hey at least the front office is strong.. Smh
