Dodgers Acquire Brian Dozier From Twins

According to Ken Rosenthal of the Atheltic, the Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Brian Dozier from the Minnesota Twins.

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reported information on the trade.
#Dodgers tried to get Brian Dozier instead of Logan Forsythe two years ago but wouldn’t give up Walker Buehler or Cody Bellinger in deal.

Dozier and Forsythe are near match in salaries — remainder of $9m for Dozier, $8.5m for Forsythe.

If Double-A OF Luke Raley is included in #Dodgers deal for Dozier, he was considered a player on the rise. Carried .848 OPS in Cal League last year into Double-A this year (.822 with 17 HRs). Not easy to do.
