Doc Rivers Fined 15K

According to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has been fined 15 thousand dollars for verbal abuse to an official.
Clippers coach Doc Rivers fined $15,000 for directing verbal abuse towards a ref & not leaving the court in a timely manner after ejection.

Rivers was frustrated by the officing and the Clippers meltdown against the Nets.

Rivers spoke to Dan Woike about of the Orange County Register about the situation.
“Obviously, I should have gotten fined, just from the actions afterwards,” Rivers said. “I had no problem with that at all. I’m good with it. I never read why they fined me. I’m completely in the dark. I just knew I got fined. They called me and said 15 (thousand) and before they said anything else, I said, ‘Hey, thank you, no problem.
