NL CENTRAL
1. St. Louis Cardinals (86-76). The NL Central seems to be ultra-competitive every year. I believe this will be the tightest division race in 2015.
2. Chicago Cubs (85-77). Grab an order of Joe Maddon, add a dash of exciting young prospects and grill up some optimism on the North Side! It’s the ’08 Rays all over again! Of course, this iteration of Windy City optimism will crash and burn spectacularly like it always does.
3. Pittsburgh Pirates (84-78). Andrew McCutchen is a stud, but Russell Martin is a huge loss that will be felt offensively and with the pitching staff in a tight division race.
4. Milwaukee Brewers (77-85). You know, Dontrelle Willis could’ve turned this team around.
5. Cincinnati Reds (71-91). Get him while he’s good? Marlon Byrd will wash up very, very soon. Frankly, I’m surprised FanGraphs picked the Reds to win 76 games.
