- Updated: February 9, 2015
DeAndre Jordan scored 22 points and grabbed 27 rebounds as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks 115-98.
The Clippers who were on a four game losing streak were able to end that spell tonight. In their last game on Sunday the Clippers were unable to keep up with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
J.J. Redick made his return tonight after missing a few games with back spasms. He scored 15 points including three 3-pointers. Chris Paul left his mark on the game. He recorded a double-double as he scored 25 points and had 13 assists.
Jamal Crawford continued to struggle from the field as he shot just 9/24 tonight, but he did score 22 points.
For the Mavericks Charlie Villanueva led the team in scoring off the bench. He scored 26 points in just 23 minutes. Chandler Parsons recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki added 18 points and 7 rebounds as well.
The Clippers did an excellent job of protecting the ball tonight as they had just six turnovers. After getting killed on the glass last night the Clippers also won the rebounding battle due in part to Jordan’s big night.
With the win the Clippers improved to 34-19 on the season. They will finally head home as they play host to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.
