DeAndre Jordan scored 15 points and grabbed  22 rebounds as the Los Angeles Clippers went on the road and beat a tough Memphis Grizzlies team 97-79. The Clippers were coming off a tough road loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night and were able to bounce back quite nicely tonight.

Chris Paul continued his strong play tonight. He got the best of Mike Conley tonight as Paul went on to score 19 points and had 13 assists.

J.J. Redick chipped in 18 points, and Jamal Crawford added 19 off the bench. Crawford and Glen Davis were the only ones to score off the bench as Davis added 6 points.

For the Grizzlies Zach Randolph imposed his will down low. He recorded a double-double 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds as he was clearly the Grizzlies best player tonight. Clippers fans cannot wait for Blake Griffin to come back so that he can slow down Z-Bo if the two teams were to meet in the playoffs.

Marc Gasol chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Courtney Lee added 12 points including 3 three pointers. Jeff Green and Conley combined for just 6 points.

The Clippers defense was on another level in tonight’s matchup. Weather it was making deflections or blocking shots they were making life tough on the Grizz. The Clips also connected on 9 threes compared to the Grizz just 3.

DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul have done an excellent job with Blake Griffin out of the lineup. Jordan has  manned the paint and continues to collect rebounds like a mad man.

The road trip continues for the Clippers as they travel to Chicago for a Sunday afternoon game.

There are a lot more guerreros than puigs? LOL ok without looking the numbers i would bet you that more than half of the players that have left cuba have become serviceable major leaguers and many became stars. I think the success rate for cuban players is pretty high. The talent might dry up in a couple of years but there’s still plenty of talent down there. Including the best one of all who broke all of cespedes, puig and abreu records down there Alfredo Despaigne who has been the best player in cuba for the last the last 8 years and in cuba there is no debate about that.
