The Clippers will need to move fast in order to try to fill the void of Jordan. Rumors are linked to Roy Hibbert, Jordan Hill, and Larry Sanders as possible options.
The Clippers offseason was looking very positive with the additions of Lance Stephenson and Paul Pierce. The moves were made with the idea that Jordan would return to the team that was one win away from the Western Conference Finals.
Experts believe that Jordan ultimately left the Clippers so that he could “be the man” in Dallas. With Dirk Nowitzki at age 37 and likely on his way out in a few years the team will be Jordan’s in a few years.
It will be interesting to see how Jordan produces in Dallas. Whether he wants to admit it or not a lot of his successes have come under head coach Doc Rivers and star point guard Chris Paul.
Jordan known as a lob specialist will certainly get more touches in Dallas. For Dallas’ sake let’s just hope he doesn’t get fouled…
