Dave Hansen Out As Angels Hitting Coach

According to Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have announced that hitting coach Dave Hansen will not be back with the team next season.

The Angels confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.

Mike DiGiovanna also spoke about the move.

Hansen played in the MLB for numerous teams including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners, and San Diego Padres. He began his coaching career as a hitting coach in Double-A with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Hansen became the Dodgers hitting coach in 2011 before joining the Mariners in the same role in 2012. He came to the Halos as an assistant hitting coach in 2014 before getting promoted in 2015.
