Darin Erstad Withdraws From Dodgers Job

According to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times, University of Nebraska head coach Darin Erstad has withdrawn from the Los Angeles Dodgers managerial job.

Mark Saxon of ESPN.com reported yesterday that Erstad was among one of the finalist for the job.

Erstad was considered a strong candidate for the job but has withdrawn and now will focus his attention back to the University of Nebraska.

With Erstad backing out it leaves Bud Black, Dave Roberts, and Gabe Kapler as the final candidates for the job. The search should be over I assume sometime next week.

As more information surfaces on the managerial search and the Dodgers offseason moves we will continue to keep you up to date.
