Russell was the second overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft out of Ohio State University. He had an up and down rookie campaign where the Lakers stuggled as a whole.
So far this season Russell is averaging 14.3 points per game but is dealing with a few injuries. He left the Lakers game against the Indiana Pacers due a MCL sprain.
