Dallas Mavericks Vs. Los Angeles Clippers Start Time, Preview, TV

The Dallas Mavericks will take on the Los Angeles Clippers today at the Staples Center. While the Clippers have won four out of their last five games they are nowhere near satisfied with their recent successes. The Clippers are coming off a convincing win against their rival Los Angeles Lakers.
Blake Griffin is coming off a near triple double against the Lakers. He asserted his will as he had 27 points, 8 assists, and 9 rebounds in the win. Chris Paul also had a big game. He had 24 points and 11 assists.
Today will be a star-studded affair as some of the leagues best players will take each other on. Rajon Rondo was recently acquired for the Mavericks and he has made an impact already. The matchup between Rondo and Paul is one for the ages, and will be a great matchup today.
Dirk Nowitzki is one of the best power forwards of all time, and he will be matched up against the athletic Blake Griffin. It will be interesting to see how Dirk tries to defend the atheticism of Griffin.
Both teams have the talent needed to be sucessful in the tough Western Conference, and if the season ended today they would meet in the first round.
The Clippers will need to focus on the defensive side of the ball as the Mavericks are one of the best offensive teams in the league. Today will be a good test for the Clippers as well as a measuring stick going forward.
