Corey Seager Wins Silver Slugger Award

According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has won the Silver Slugger Award for the National League.

Seager was named an All-Star last season with the club after being a first round pick in the 2012 MLB draft. He had a spectacular rookie season where he hit 26 homeruns and drove in 72 RBI’s. Seager hit 40 double and hit .308 for Los Angeles.
