According to Eric Stephens of the Athletic, Anaheim Ducks veteran Corey Perry is expected to miss 5 months after undergoing surgery today to repair meniscus and MCL injuries.
Corey Perry will be lost for an expected five months after undergoing surgery to repair meniscus and MCL in right knee. Knee, which had prior issues, popped during warm-up. GM Bob Murray said the hope is that he’ll return by trade deadline.

BREAKING: #NHLDucks Executive Vice President and General Manager Bob Murray said Corey Perry had surgery today to repair meniscus and MCL injuries.

Greg Beachman of the Associated Press added information.
Corey Perry’s knee surgery is the most significant injury of his career. He’s never missed more than 15 games in a season since he broke into the Ducks’ lineup full-time way back in 2006.
